Two groups per assigned country. Group A: Focus on the political dimensions of the country, turning points in the period from 1650-1750. Rubric: one quotation from a primary source; succession of rulers with images, timeline with turning points, rival countries, maps. Shared presentation responsibility. Group B: Focus on the cultural aspects of the country, particularly art, music, architecture. How does the Baroque express itself there? Rubric: religious composition in country, one or two famous architects with picture, one or two famous artist with work of art, one or two famous musician [music may be embedded or linked]. Shared presentation responsibility.
